This
impressive series of beautiful water fall is formed when descending
the Río Tulijá in a staggered way, creating a series
of ponds or natural reservoirs that are contained by calcareous
dikes; the calls " gours " in the geologic terminology.
The intense turquoise blue color that they possess, that which
partly has made them famous, it is in great measure to the calcareous
channel of the river. This coloration, joined to the intense green
of the vegetation, to the constant breeze and the inexhaustible
aquatic sound, they contribute to make of this place, without
a doubt some, one of the most beautiful and unforgettable natural

As
a result of the precipitation of a river for a cantil of calcareous
rocks, this beautiful water fall of approximately 30 mts. of height

Yaxchilan

left riverbank of a capricious bend of the Usumacinta, it is high

Chiapa
de Corzo
Historical
